Dedicating a child to God symbolizes the belief that our children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3) and that the best place for them to be is in a loving relationship with Him. Dedicating children to the Lord is a beautiful symbolic act showing the parent\'s desire to raise their children in His teachings and for the service of God. Journey Life Center is holding it's 28th annual Believer's Banquet on Sunday, September 26. It will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a fellowship dinner and then continue into the evening with our annual business meeting. All adult members are welcome to come. It will be the most fun business meeting you've ever attended!

One of the most rewarding and exciting ministries at Journey Life Center is our street ministry team. This team will be going out and witnessing on the streets every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm. Annas Fellowship is a fellowship group consisting of women over the age of 50 who are widowed, divorced or single. This special group meets monthly to have fun and encourage one another. Join them for their next meeting on Saturday, October 9th, in the cafe at JLC. Contact Hazel Johnson or call the church office for more information.

All fellowship groups will be meeting at 4:00 for a night of fellowship and fun! The 50 and older group will be going to the Rigsby's residence in Lexington for a cookout and games. The 50 and under group will be going to the Martin's home in Shelby for a costume party. Everyone is welcome...join us for the fun!

All ladies are welcome to come to JLC's annual progressive dinner. We will enjoy appetizers, the main course, and desert at three different homes in the Mansfield and Lexington areas. Mark your calendars.
